A retail sale is defined as a sale made directly to the consumer (not through a store or a distributor). Retail sales are a vital part of your cookbook’s success. This sales channel provides the highest profit potential. Usually, you will be selling your book at 100% of the retail price, though seasonal or special discounts may be offered throughout the year to entice sales. combined event intended to honor their award-winning cookbook and serve as
